The Hampden Meadows Youth Group of the Barrington Garden Club was established in 1937 and was the very first junior Garden Club in the state. The students met at members’ homes and embarked on projects that were consistent with the topic of the day. Although attendance in the Hampden Meadows Youth Group has varied from year to year, it is still going strong today. Currently, the club has an ongoing relationship with Hampden Meadows Middle School 4th and 5th graders, and they work closely with the school on their assigned projects.
